Avenue Pictures will be holding round 3 auditions for the feature film "ARCANE”

The film at this point has not been cast completely and there are many great roles left to fill. Auditions were held locally in September 2007 at the Omaha Film Group and in Los Angeles November 2007. Expect to hear more about auditions in the near future.

The plot of Arcane is a kept secret and actors will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and will not have access to a complete script.

"ARCANE” follows a team of paranormal investigators as they pushed to the limit when answers become more important then life.

We are excited to announce our short film collaboration with 510 Cinema “Unconditional” has been accepted to the 2008 Omaha Film Festival.

The film, written and directed by Derek Baker, has gone through several evolutions since it’s initial production in May of 2007. Due to “Act-of-God” type challenges during shooting, several key scenes were re-imagined in post-production, giving the film a greater sense of depth and emotion.

The film will Premiere on Thursday, February 21st @ 6:00 PM as part of the Nebraska Short Film Block at the Festival, with an encore showing on Saturday, February 23rd @ 5:00 PM.

"Unconditional" is a tragedy that happens upon an innocent child, left in this world with only her step grandparents to care for her. After loosing her mother and brother in a car accident just 2 years earlier, Carrie is witness to the murder of her father and stepmother in a brutal attack.

June 10^th 2007 V.L.A. Productions in association with Avenue Pictures will begin principal photography on “For Love of Amy”. Under the Avenue Pictures umbrella, Executive Producers Sho Raikar, Sofi Novakovic and Associate Producer Derek Baker are pleased to be a part of this outstanding project and are excited to work with such gifted members of cast and crew.

Avenue Pictures' feature film "Ulterior Motives" will premiere at the 2008 Omaha Film Festival on February 21st @ 8:30pm in the Westwood Theatre.

The story, conceived by Derek Baker follows a string of serial cop murders. This mayhem has created national attention drawing unwanted attention from the F.B.I. adding extreme pressure to local detectives of the Omaha Police Department to solve the case before more lives are claimed. We are confident that this feature length film will be well worth the wait.

As Ulterior Motives takes shape for a polished finish we are looking at the future as well.
